Send text messages directly from Upcoming Events.

(Note: Placing a call and sending text messages is not possible on iPod touch)

Upcoming Events support direct entry of birthdays and anniversaries
into a separately maintained database.
So you may add birthdays and anniversaries of kids, spouse of
your contacts and acquaintances without cluttering your Contacts application.

Do not know the year information of a birthday?
Upcoming Events allows you to create a birthday
without the need for the year information.

Application icon badge gives you a visual constant reminder
throughout the day and is updated each time you run
Upcoming Events or via Push Notifications.

In some ethnicities, there are differences in the way
a name is ordered, Upcoming Events offers a way to
configure the ordering of the name displayed.

Configure how you want the application icon badge
to remind you of upcoming events. This feature is
turned off by default.

Set the alert time that you would like to receive notification alerts
Configure the number of days in advance
that you would like to be notified of any event.

Use period filters to set the number of days
into the future or past that will be
displayed in Upcoming Events.
